A Vintage Engagement Session in the Boston Gardens
Lily and Jason had their engagement session in the Boston Common and the Boston Gardens. They now live in California, but we recreated one of their favorite dates from when they were living in Boston! They loved strolling the Boston Common and Gardens together, picnicking, and reading a good book while they were living in the city. It was so special to have engagement session photos that included some of their favorite activities and memories.
After we strolled the Boston Gardens and Common we had an outfit change and explored Beacon Hill for the second half of their engagement session. I’m never against an outfit change during an engagement session. These can add a different feeling to your photos and give you almost two different sessions in one.
I’m so happy we were able to bring back their fond memories of Boston and adventure around the Boston Common and Garden, some of their favorite spots, for their engagement session. It was such a pleasure getting to know these two; they are so effortlessly in love with each other their happiness is contagious!

I always recommend trying to choose a significant location or activity for engagement sessions because it brings another level of connection. Not only did we have fun making new memories, but in this way we were able to capture some of their fondest times together to make these photos even more significant.
