We explored the beach and cliffs, celebrated and toasted to their love, and then topped the evening off with some ice cream in town. It was the perfect New England evening – read on to see more from their session!
Engagement Session Along Boston’s Coast
I connected with Elli and Cam right from our initial phone call. I have been so excited to get to know them and capture this special time in their lives! They are a couple who are so in love, that they make it easy to capture on camera. They are actually high school sweethearts, so during their engagement session, we re-created a photo from their prom night! It was so sweet. We had such a good time exploring the coastal scenery and cliffs, and then headed into town for a walk and some ice cream. I always recommend to my couples to treat their engagement session like a date – and Elli and Cam sure planned a fun one!
One thing that made Elli and Cam’s engagement session especially fun, was how they incorporated a special bottle of whiskey into the evening. They are both whiskey experts and love tastings. They appreciate everything that goes into making a quality batch. Elli is a whiskey ambassador [@caskqueen], so they brought a special bottle to share a celebratory dram together! I love that they are making a point to incorporate meaningful and significant details such as this as well as family traditions into their wedding events and celebrations.
Beach Engagement Photos
This beach north of Boston was such a fun location for this engagement session. Living and working in coastal New England makes it easy to location scout for my couples! For Elli and Cam’s engagement session we were able to get some beautiful shots along the rocky coast while exploring. I’ve been lucky to capture beach engagement photos in locations such as Plumb Island, Swampscott Beach, and Fort Pickering Lighthouse in Salem.
